Building a Movement for Healthier Relationships

I started this mission 7 years ago, when faced with numerous people I know and Love who were blindsided by what happens when the very hands that promised to care for them, were the instrument of pain. What was once Love is WorththeWar is now all grown up and ready to help with more than understanding abuse- we are ready to outsmart it. 

Looking more closely at the culture, it became clear that the music, movies, and social media were not bystanders but complicit in creating ideas of Love that were not only lies, but also dangerous on multiple levels.  They cultivated ideas of Love that opened the door to toxic behaviors, and innocence heightened vulnerability.

The truth is, we spend far more time making sure the next generation is prepared for sports, driving, and recreation than we do helping them navigate the treacherous landscape of dating and relationships. 

We can't stick our heads in the sand and hope it will miraculously fall together. If we don't help them understand what to look for, how to protect their bodies and minds, who will?
